This week on Beyond a Song host Rich Reardin talks with New Mexico singer/songwriter Max Gomez. Max Gomez lives in Taos, in Northern New Mexico. He wrote some songs with Shawn Mullins, and by his early twenties, began recording his own songs with producers in L.A., New York, and Nashville. He’s shared billing with the likes of Shawn Mullins, James McMurtry, Buddy Miller, Jim Lauderdale, Patty Griffin, and John Hiatt.

Initially a songwriter in Nashville, Tennessee, Foster made his recording debut as part of the Foster & Lloyd duo, recording three studio albums and with nine singles on the country charts. His songs have been recorded by Gary Allan, Sara Evans, Keith Urban, Hootie and the Blowfish, and Jack Ingram. This is part one of a two part interview.
